Mit überraschender Leichtigkeit verwandelt der Berliner Didgeridoo-Profi Marc Miethe einen hohlen Ast, ein stimmbares Plastikrohr oder seine hohle Hand in eine spektakuläre Rhythmusmaschine. Wenn er diese organischen Vorlagen schließlich in ein Loop-Gerät spielt, um sich selber zu begleiten, lässt wirklich nichts mehr erahnen, dass er all das nur mit dem Mund gezaubert hat.
Marc Miethe zählt zu den herausragenden Spielern Europas und leistet seit 1992 Pionierarbeit für das alte Blasinstrument der australischen Aborigines. Er spielt es mit „geradezu spektakulärer“ Virtuosität, mit einer „Intensität und einem Ideenreichtum, die seinesgleichen sucht“ und vermag damit „wahre Begeisterungsstürme“ auszulösen (Pressezitate)! Mal klingt es wie eine elektronische Groovebox, mal wie eine ganze Landschaft aus Rhythmen und Klängen.
Marc Miethe hatte zahlreiche Auftritte und Workshops bei europaweiten Festivals, Didgeridoo- und Firmen-Events, bei Messen sowie im Radio und TV.
