Tauche ein in die faszinierenden Klänge des Didgeridoos. In diesem besonderen Solo-Konzert bringt Marc Miethe das uralte Instrument in seiner ganzen Tiefe und Vielseitigkeit zum Klingen.

Marc bringt das Didgeridoo auf ein völlig neues Level. Mit überraschender Leichtigkeit verwandelt der Berliner Didgeridoo-Profi einen hohlen Ast, ein stimmbares Plastikrohr oder sogar seine hohle Hand in eine atemberaubende Rhythmusmaschine. Wenn er diese organischen Klänge schließlich in ein Loop-Gerät spielt, um sich selbst zu begleiten, entsteht ein Sound, der an elektronische Grooves erinnert – doch alles entsteht live, nur mit dem Mund!

Immerse yourself in the fascinating sounds of the didgeridoo. In this special solo concert, Marc Miethe brings the ancient instrument to life in all its depth and versatility.

Marc takes the didgeridoo to a whole new level. With astonishing ease, the Berlin-based didgeridoo virtuoso transforms a hollow branch, a tunable plastic pipe, or even his cupped hand into a breathtaking rhythm machine. When he layers these organic sounds into a loop device to accompany himself, the result is a soundscape reminiscent of electronic grooves – yet everything is created live, using only his mouth!

A Unique Listening Experience

At times, it sounds like a pulsating beatbox; at others, like an entire landscape of rhythms and textures. The combination of traditional didgeridoo techniques, innovative playing styles, and modern loops creates an electrifying sound spectrum that is unmatched in Europe.
